Eminem working on songs>> 50 Cent has revealed that Eminem is secretly recording a new album. The Slim Shady man has turned up as a guest on fellow rapper's tunes but has brought out an LP of his own since 2004's Encore. But now Fiddy has told US magazine Blender: "He's got a new album coming. He's not gonna tell people that, but he's making new music. I've heard a a few songs and it's hot." The In Da Club rapper added: "He won't tell nobody he's working on a new album, but I'll tell you - he's working on new music." 50, real-name Curtis Jackson, even appraised Em's rapping skills. When asked if the new tunes were wacky or angry he said: "Both. The whole range. You know, Michael Jordan was supposed to play basketball. Floyd Mayweather was meant to box. And Eminem was meant to rap.

Eminem donates money to Hip Hop 4 Habitat project Adam Graham The Detroit News May 10 , 2007 12 :00 PM Eminem made a donation today to Hip Hop 4 Habitat, a project where members of the hip-hop community will build a home for a family in need. The hip-hop superstar contributed an undisclosed sum of money to help launch the program through his Marshall Mathers Foundation, it was announced on WJLB-FM (97.9 ) this morning during the 7 o'clock hour. Hip Hop 4 Habitat is looking to raise $75 ,000 to build the 1 ,100-square-foot home near Mack Avenue and Lakepointe Street on Detroit's east side. It's tentatively set to be built over one week in October. Following the completion of the home, Detroit rapper Trick Trick -- who said today he will help build the home -- will give a concert for volunteers. "Hip Hop 4 Habitat is meant to be a positive project and a way for the hip-hop community to come together and support a family in need," said Alyce Hartman, founder of A Prophetic Generation, a nonprofit organization
